Reshape how you work

We build the capabilities your organization needs to navigate constant change.

Evolve your strategy, capabilities, structure, roles, processes, incentives, culture.

Learning experiences

We work alongside people and teams as they take on new ways of working and grow into their roles. We do it on three levels:

  • Training to build new skills and distinctions.

  • Mentoring for people in key roles who need to evolve how they work.

  • Team coaching to adopt new ways of working in real time.

Who it's for

Teams changing how they work, and people in key roles (leaders, middle managers, go-to experts) who now need something different from what got them here.

It's not one-off training. Learning happens by doing, on real work, so it sticks and doesn't depend on us.

Conversations at scale

We design and facilitate the conversations an organization needs when it has to align, decide, or create something across many people: strategic planning, hackathons, ideation days, open spaces to spread knowledge, leadership gatherings.

It’s not "running a workshop." It’s conversation architecture: who needs to be in the room, what gets decided and when, and how the agreements hold once everyone is back at their own work.

Camps

Our most signature format. Intensive, immersive experiences (built on the logic of the Agile Open Camps) where a group steps away to rethink something together in concentrated time, with dynamics co-created for each context. It's the clearest picture of how we work when we're given the room.

Who it's for

Organizations facing a complex challenge, a big change, or planning that involves a lot of people, where the usual meetings just don't cut it.

The event isn't the point: what's decided inside has to become shared action outside. We design for exactly that.

Organizational design

We start from the gap between the results your organization gets today and the ones it's after. From there we co-design the capabilities it needs to close it, and rethink whatever it takes: how decisions get made, how it's structured, which processes hold it up, and who owns what.

We don't do it all at once, or across the whole company. We start with one area or team and move in a spiral: each pass goes a little deeper and radiates out to the rest.

Who it's for

Organizations that aren't reaching the results they set out to, and suspect the brake isn't effort, but how the system is wired on the inside.

No off-the-shelf framework, no canned agile workshop. We design with you, on your real context, and stay long enough for the change to hold.

How we work.

Tailored, not off-the-shelf

We're not here to turn your organization into something it isn't and doesn't want to be. We start by understanding its DNA and work like a tailor: we don't sell a ready-made suit, we cut it with you, to fit how you actually work.

We co-design

Designing together isn't a formality: it's what builds real buy-in. The transformation is validated as it moves, with the people who'll carry it afterward.

We move in spirals

It's not a linear recipe. The focus rotates and gains depth with each pass: every turn goes a little further in, adjusting on what we've already learned together.

No big-bang changes

We don't drop in with a manual to change everything overnight. Big-bang change has a boomerang effect; we prefer continuous improvement. It doesn't always take longer, and it always holds better.

The team.

Tommy Christie Tommy Christie

For over twenty years I've moved between software and organizational change: I started out coding and ended up working alongside teams that need to change how they work. I added social psychology and coaching to my engineering, because the bottleneck is almost never technical.

My thing is designing and facilitating: the workshops, the dynamics, the gatherings where a group rethinks something together. I co-created the Agile Open Camp, which is pretty much the root of what we do at Lateral.

What I do most is design the method: take a complex problem, make sense of it with the team, and build the process to solve it. My background is in project management and agile, and in coaching, because moving an organization means moving conversations.

I work with leaders and teams to unblock what's stuck, and to keep what the group learns from evaporating: to turn it into a new way of working.

Gaspar Oyuela Gaspar Oyuela

I guide organizational transformations and agile adoptions, almost always in the thick of digital change. My terrain is learning: I design experiences where teams don't just hear about a new way of working, they rehearse it.

I work on the team’s real challenges, not textbook cases, so that what they practice stays in place once the workshop ends.
